He knew he should of pulled away. He shouldn't of done it in the first place. He couldn't afford to get involved in the world of romance or relationships, he had a larger goal in life he was desperate to fulfil. Yet here he was. His lips were clumsy at first, but they found a rhythm with her own, and the kiss continued. They were both inexperienced when it came to this sort of stuff, and he could feel her flinch and her breath hitch at his sudden attack on her lips. His hands found themselves on her waist, his thumbs drawing little circles on her bare skin. He couldn't think of why it had suddenly overcome him, the reason as to why she got to him so badly. All he wanted to do right now was bring her as close as he could, ironic, considering all he had been trying to do was push her away. He felt her arms wrap around his neck, bringing his face a few inches closer, and he welcomed the warmth their bodies gave. He finally broke the kiss, gaining the air he needed and looked at the woman before him. He remained there for a moment, gazing into her eyes like she was a prized piece of art. His forehead fell against her own, and he released a soft sigh from his lips "You win I guess..." he smiled gently, and looked down to where his hands were on her waist.

It was far and few when she didn't have a fast paced, witty remark to shoot back with. But it may have had to do with the way her head was still spinning and she experienced what it felt like to be drunk without any liquor. Simply put, she was floored and dazed from his kiss momentarily. Her forehead rested against his, her eyes staying closed during the time of serenity afterwards. She knew she could kiss him forever; but it was the imagery in the back of her mind of Calloway hunting him down with a cleaver that had her ears catch up to the chaos and partying indoors. She nearly had forgotten they existed. A smile curled up on her lips. "I always will." Hesitantly she pulled away, aching for his touch just as soon as it was gone. Giving him one more teasing look over her shoulder, she skipped up the few steps and through the back curtain of the big top. This was the time where the others would retire and there was bound to be a few that would need assistance walking to their tents without falling asleep drunkenly in the grass.

He felt her slip away from his grasp, her warmth leaving him as she turned away and walked towards the back curtain of the bigtop. Not before giving him another teasing look over her shoulder, which seemed to do strange things to his mind. He blinked to himself for a moment, as he watched her disappear behind the silky curtain, and was left alone for a moment to think about that had just happened. He'd lost in his own games, she being to the one to be victorious and bend him to her will. A soft growl left his lips, as he curled his fists together in a tight squeeze. Wasn't he supposed to be the strongest? His very existence drove him to become nothing but power. How was she, a dainty dancing girl, able to make him forget about everything? Able to make his mind fuzz with excitement and wonder? She was a puzzle to him.
He began to feel the cold air once more on his skin, the snow falling on his shoulders and the rim of his hat. He could hear the cheers and murmurs of his fellow freaks as they began to depart to their tents. His skin became filled with goosebumps, and his throat was dry. He knew he should just walk away, perhaps join in with the last of the merriment to take his mind of things. His mind was torn, but that didn't stop his legs from following in her direction. He moved the curtain apart to follow, his eyes looking around for her. His heart was pounding in his chest, his eyes desperate to find her form in the darkness of the curtains. He finally escaped their silky clutches, and looked around, his gaze falling to her immediately.
