Lucifer laughed. "Of course there is! I'm afraid you've used up all your freebies and my patience though. So if you want more, earn it. Bye now!" he said, waving with a sly grin before the candles went out with a whoosh and Gabriel's spell broke along with their connection, the body of the dead man he'd been using collapsing in a heap on the floor.

A bitter chuckle escaped Ellis' mouth as she shook her head at the lifeless body Lucifer had possessed. "That shady son of a bitch," she muttered, angry undertones seeping to the surface in her voice. "I mean, I figured it was kind of a given considering he's Lucifer, but... wow." She cradled her injured arm, which at this point had stopped hurting and had gone numb, and turned to leave, thinking a walk around the hospital would be a prime opportunity to clear her head, help her formulate a plan, and stave off the sickening feeling in her stomach that lingered as a result of the information she held and the fact that she hadn't eaten since the day before.
